IDT COMPANY HISTORY & GOALS:
Established June 2009, INTEGRATED DESIGN TECHNOLOGY was born from the recession as a result of down-sizing in the industry. As a former employee and co-owner of Perkowitz + Ruth Architects, David Littman, Founder and Principal of IDT, possesses 29 years of practical experience. His 14 year tenure as Associate, Project Director, Director of Quality Control and Project Manager with P+R Architects - in addition to 15 years of prior experience in the profession - endows David with well-rounded knowledge of building design, production and construction contract administration methods and processes, from project inception to completion.
Out of concern for the environment, one of the core long-term goals for Integrated Design Technology is to become established as a leader in the design of ecologically responsible projects which have the least possible effect on the environment and promote energy efficiency. In addition, our goal is to specify renewable resources where practicable and design for long-term sustainability by utilization of industry recognized “green” metrics for design and construction, to the maximum extent possible for the project.
Another primary goal we have for Integrated Design Technology is to become a leader in innovative, practical and cost-effective designs that are relatively easy to construct using conventional materials. By integrating methods and systems that are already established, readily available and familiar to most construction companies, we can accomplish this goal.
The final and most important goal for Integrated Design Technology is to design innovative projects for clients who are forward-thinking and whom insist upon design excellence, creative design solutions and the latest “green” technology. We at Integrated Design Technology are sensitive to the effects of development on the environment and are committed to designing sustainable projects for clients who share our ecological concerns.
COMPANY VISION:
To promote excellence in innovative design strategies utilizing an Integrated Design approach with the client and project team to establish project goals, parameters, programming, design language, scheduling, production, construction, and operation of building systems.
To assist the client in the early establishment of project goals in an effort to minimize development impact on the environment, maximize value, energy efficiency, overall building performance and project sustainability.
To integrate cutting-edge technology and innovative design in order to establish aesthetically pleasing, high performance, low cost, energy efficient and self-sustaining buildings that minimize the ecological effect to the environment.
To utilize the latest computer software technology as a holistic design approach to integrate building systems seamlessly and efficiently during the process of project design, development and implementation while realizing maximum value.
MISSION STATEMENT:
We are dedicated to assisting our clients with the the Integrated Design process in order to develop high performance and innovative, cutting-edge building projects which minimize the impact to the ecology and natural environment, maximize energy and water efficiency, incorporate renewable resources and promote environmental sustainability.
